It is mainly for the reason that each and every one of us probably has his/her own familiarity regarding this. Viewing it in a smaller scale, individually, we experience personal predicaments like financial crises in which in some circumstances we’re left with no other recourse but to resort to “borrowing”. Viewing it in the broader side of the spectrum, our country is one concrete example. Either way, one “borrows” in order to suffice the needs and sometimes unnecessarily to satisfy what one wants.

Aforementioned, debt is anything that is borrowed. Hence, the basic principle simply goes like: “Whatever is borrowed must be returned.” But that rule doesn’t just end there. It is important that it abides with a set time frame. We then say that “Whatever is borrowed must be returned on time.”

Keep in mind that during the negotiation, the debtor promises to pay in due time and the person lending anything expects the other to keep his/her word. Failure to do that will cause inconvenience to both parties. But the disadvantage falls more on the debtor. He/she will make negative impressions of himself/herself and will jeopardize his/her reputation for shamelessly not keeping his word of honor. More so, it may cause a gap or even a feud between the two parties.

Furthermore, all of us know that a person has both physiological and psychological needs. In a layman’s term, a person has both needs and wants respectively. Needs are those essential for survival which basically includes food, clothing and shelter. If these are the only things to be spent on, there would definitely be no problem in terms of finances. But, take this. The rest of the “not-so essential” would fall under the wants or the desires. The latter is an indirect yet immense factor that one would instantly consider borrowing as an option to let ends meet, rather appropriately to be able to bask oneself with ones desires.

Debt can also come in other forms aside from monetary. To name one is this so-called “debt of gratitude” a.k.a as “utang na loob” which is common to the Filipinos and that which we are all well-versed about. This kind of debt is distinct among others because first, it is non-material and also because of its nature. This is the kind in which one does not ask or borrow anything from anyone. A person willingly renders his/her service or helps another person in anyway in which the person being rendered upon feels a deep sense of gratitude to the one lending a hand. One is not obligated to pay back but a driving force pushes a person to make a favor in return—it is gratitude.

Over and above, the key points to ponder on are the following:

1. Whatever is borrowed must be returned on time.
2. Word of Honor
3. Pay it forward. (Gratitude)
4. Prioritize the needs rather than the wants.
5. Be money savvy!

Dirty Thoughts I Need to Trash. [A long forgotten file]

I kid you not.

I’ve met outrageously gross people in my life. There are these stinkos who confound me on how they seem to be unbelievably oblivious of the pollution they’re causing to Earth. Doubled over, I know some with ridiculously disgusting demeanors who exude 200% confidence despite the please-don’t-come-near-me-now reaction from the people around them.

If you’re gagging to know more sordid details, go on then. But word of advice – grab a cellophane just in case you throw up.

Sickening Catchphrase # 1: “Aslum na murag parat xa.”

You read that right. Trust me, they aren’t typos. I once had a playmate who actually dared to taste her mucus. Imagine how disgusted we were seeing that green grime trickling from her nostrils. I assume this kid was under the influence of a madcap. I swear she just wrinkled her forehead and said: “Aslum na murag parat xa.” Bleaugh! This kid was mental.

Now, when we, by chance, ride on the same jeepney or pass by each on other on the cat walk, I could very well see the stupid young girl that she was. Hahaha. Who can tell that this lady, considered as drop-dead gorgy, used to be an idiot who thought she’s got big time guts over the rest of the kids? Hahaha.

Sickening Catchphrase # 2: “Nakalimot man gud ko. Pero nag-brush naman pud ko gabii beh.”

I can’t stand it! I can not tolerate his horrible breath. Ugh, it smells exactly like a canal of mud and muck. And I’m not through yet. He always, and I mean at all times, forgets, rather appropriately fails to brush his teeth at least once a day. You should’ve seen how yellow his teeth were. Eeew, in no time, moss will soon sprout on it.

Actually, I’ve made myriad attempts to get the message across him. Like: “Did you just eat fish for lunch?” or “Palit ta Mentos, tah.” As silly as it sounds, I really wanted to tell him in indirect ways so as to pin myself down from barking straight at his face, “Your mouth stinks!” But it didn’t work. So finally one day, I jeopardized my politeness and asked him straight: “Wala na sad ka nagbrush ug teeth, noh?” And his reply? “Nakalimot man gud ko. Pero nag-brush naman pud ko gabii beh.” Jeeeeezzzzz.

Here’s a question: What do you get when you add a head clustered with dandruff with uber-untidy, long and soiled fingernails? One word: YUCK!

For us complainants, at least… But for her who possesses these strangely not-so beautiful features, her oozing confidence can never be trampled.

She’s got a habit of scratching her head – anywhere, anytime. I remember once during our teacher’s lecture, her head I presume was itching to death because I spotted her using the tip of her pen and her other hand scratching her head recklessly. All these flakes started to appear like snow on her hair. And there was like a cluster of dandruff that fell off in her shoulder! My guy classmate who happened to be an ablutomane, transferred seat while muttering loudly, “Unsa man na oi. Kaluod!” The students sitting nearby them, mostly girls were giggling mellifluously. And I, watching the whole scene, found myself grinning and grossed out.

Grime? Check. Bad breath? I told you that. Dandruff, flakes, soiled nails? We’ve had enough. Ridiculously gross, eh? Certified!

But hey, let’s take these as lessons to learn from. You wouldn’t want to be the next gross-and-gossiped-about-bloke in town. Alright! So remember to scrub yourselves well, people!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://haidenemaego.blogspot.com/2008/08/dirty-thoughts-i-need-to-trash-long.html' title='Dirty Thoughts I Need to Trash. Okay, I am certain that you're still in the unconvinced mode, BUTTTTTT listen up, sssshhhhh, come closer....

This ain't your ordinary sanitary napkin. And it prides and aces itself on what is known as the NEGATIVE ION STRIP.

Don't worry, this blog is allergic with scientific jargons. So, you don't even conceive a thought of hitting the [x] button. Don't don't forego the chance to get acquantained with this little wonder just because of the fear of being bombarded with uncomprehensible terms.

Don't.

Read on.

P.S. I am not begging, I am forcing you. hahaha. =) Anyway, I really think we ought to know a little about this.

ANYWAY:

If by chance, you were able to watch the latest episode of Jessica Soho Reports that was aired lastnight, you'll know oodles of stuff about the matter I am sharing about.

So, I just learned that Lovemoon Sanitary Napkin is manufactured and produced in Japan. Moreover, it is distributed worldwide and the product has reached our country as well. So... Like I said, this is a "wonder napkin" and it owes its being wonderful with its component called the negative ion strip. By the name itself, the strip that is, it contains negative ions which are apparently the one that is "making all the wonders".

Negative ions are commonly found in waterfalls, beaches, and mountains or nature. Our body as well have negative ions in it. These negative ions are capable of healing illneses. YESSS... And what do you get when negative ions are infused in a sanitary napkin through a strip?

SHEEEDEEENGGG! Here are its health benefits:

◘ No more itchiness, rashes and UTI

◘ Reduces discomfort and odor

◘ Prevents migraine and dysmenorrhea (!!)

Without doubt, this is a technology pad. WOW. Really. What else may come in the future? I mean, even a sanitary pad is a full proof that as time goes by, technology reigns supreme in our lives. Things get even smaller, thinner, faster...For the sake of comfort, convenience and efficiency.

But I still can't help wanting to go back to the time when people lived simply... Let's face it, with the advancement of technology, it is our Earth that becomes immensely affected. The effects are very evident and majority of them are the bad ones. ;( I hope that its not too late yet.

I believe that technology is one of our redemption. Ones we muster the importance of putting technology to good use, then possibly, we can save our world from eternal destruction and decadence.

Uh-oh! My weight is retrograding. =o

From a diminutive 39 kilos, I transmogrified to 38. Since I am now 18, my weight is atypical for my age.

Yikes! That means, I am underweight. Uh-oh...

This is absolutely aghasting because my weight is a vestige of my poor health. It is intangible yet a concrete reminder to enforce vigilance and to actuate to free myself from this perilous condition.

I say perilous because I will never know what's really happening in my system. I may be fit physically but at the cellular level, I may be frail. :(

Now, in order for me to be able to employ my time doing something about this, I must first cite the culprits:

• My meal time is disparate from the wonted meal time

• Weak immune system = augmented vulnerability

• Bingeing on junk foods!!!

Now... I am fully cognizant on what to do next. It's as easy as doing what is divergent with my bad habits. I can say that again. hahaha. =D But really, the answer is simple. Here's a hackneyed albeit strong and useful piece of advise that will motivate me to enforce vigilance and discipline:

HEALTH IS WEALTH!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://haidenemaego.blogspot.com/2008/08/uh-oh-my-weight-is-retrograding-o.html' title='Uh-oh! Uhhh...Yes! I'm feeling lucky, my friends. :)

Last August 6, 2008, I was hired in a Call Center not less than SYNNEX-CONCENTRIX which was formerly known as Link2Support.

Yours truly considers that day as a kick off of an aberrant episode in my life considering that I am a certified rookie in terms of practically working in a company. Living a multi-faceted life with my work being one of them, will cardinally bring about immense if not drastic changes in my day to day undertakings, my lifestyle, and ultimately my life as a whole.

Yes, that didn't really sound facile. In addition to the challenge, I have my studies as the one bannered in the loftiest point of my priority list. Yes, I am a Superwoman wannabe. hahaha. :)

Of course, I am aware and am open of the caliber of responsibity and commitment that my studies, my work, and the rest that are left unsaid. Although it is not apparent in a glance, but that burden I worry about will itself be the lessons worthy to be learned through hardship and hardwork.

Now, isn't that wonderful? Think positive! ^_^ For an added bonus, isn't it also a cool option to spend my spare time? It sure is! Considering that I am situated in a workplace where I have colleagues too cool to describe (great great people!) and that I love the work I do; not to mention a filthy 8K/month.hahaha. During the 10-day training, anyways, we are the ones who actually get paid.

Now, listen up, this is a spoiler. Hmmm...Let us not be blinded by an 8,000 moolah because the truth is that's underrated. Yep, yep. Now, don't you notice call centers lurrve hiring students aged 18 and up? That's because students do not have this thing call professional's fee.

However, anyway, as for me, it is not the salary I am up to. It's the experience! :) Over and above, I am happy that looking at my life's time table, at this juncture, I am glad that I am not retrograding since all this time, the way I live my life is unprogressive. Whoopie. Uh-huh, I am so into this band. :) Thank you from all the wells of my heart to youtube, now I can finally get access of the band's videos. Whopdeedoo!

And guess what? While I was browsing GOOGLE for images of Boyce Avenue, I came to stumble upon an entry in blogspot. There was an interview there. Do it see for yourself. :)Visit her site and read the entry in full.

Okay, so like I said, I lurrrve this band. Their music are generally acoustic. Among the rest, my favorite is their version of Bleeding Love. I hate
this. I loathe sucking at things
I love to do like writing.

Don’t get me wrong. Read between
the lines to shun
misconception.

That is definitely NOT to say
that I am a preeminent
writer or that I think I hold such paramount knack
over this literary
skill. Because I am neither. Honestly! Over
my little heinies, I’ve
no problem about being a mediocre. But,
(arrghh) it’s frustrating losing
the solitary talent I have. But
what’s more exasperating is the mere
thought that I WANT to write but I CAN
NOT do so. Have I lost the
flamboyance of my being able to express
myself?

Why do I
even fret over this baloney? The
conundrum is that what I am vexing about is not
at all hogwash to me.
Although people may think it is. But for me,
it’s a HUGE DOWNER having
a hard time expressing myself. UGH.

So
tonight, every one shall dub me from hereon as the BLOG
WITCH. What a
wretched blatherskite, I am. Oh, the shame, the
shame! But hey,
at the end of the day, it’s still (and always) the inner
blogger in me that
reigns supreme. Truth be told, I just don’t love
writing but more so,
I love the people who read my write ups. Thanks,
thanks, thanks from
the bottom of my heart! ♥

Nonetheless, I still
despise myself
for my indolence and procrastination. At times, when I
write, I have
to coerce myself to do IT otherwise my lovely little head will
shrink to a
pea-brain. REALLY. I may not be that excellent in
writing but
every time I’ve successfully put my thoughts to words, I feel so
fulfilled,
I feel like I am superwoman. (Hahaha. Not joking.)

This exact jiffy, the monstrous sloth is stinging my
neurons. And out of a sudden whim, I feel like ending this entry in
caprice. But I won’t. I yearn to dispel lethargy in my
vocabulary.

BLOG WRITING WILL HELP ME BUST THIS WHOLE
DILEMMA!
